On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the Brno City Museum has prepared the opening of the exhibition 'Chapel of Crosses. The dramatic journey from baroque piety to totalitarian ideology', pictured on April 24, 2025, at Spilberk Castle in Brno, Czech Republic. William Patrick Stuart-Houston (né Hitler), was the son of Alois Hitler Jr and  the half-nephew of Adolf Hitler. In 1911, Alois and his Irish wife Bridget moved to an apartment in Stanhope Street in Liverpool where William Patrick was born. He joined the US Navy in WW2 and the house in Liverpool was flattened during the last bombing raid of the war.-stock-photo
