Pisa, 2014. október 8.The Leaning Tower of Pisa in the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli). The cathedral is next to it to the left. The construction of the bell tower began in 1173, and it sank in 1274 before the completion of its third level because it was built on clay soil. However, it continued to be built and was completed by 1350. The tower is by Diotisalvi, and the top level, which houses the 7 bells, is the work of Giovanni Pisano. The cathedral, initially named Santa Maria Assunta and then Santa Maria Maggiore, was founded in 1063. It was built by Master Buscheto in the Pisan Romanesque style. Its walls are made of multi-colored marble and mosaic. It was enriched with various elements until the 17th century.A pisai ferdetorony a Csodák terén (Piazza dei Miracoli). Mellette balra a dóm.
