Pisa, 2014. október 8.Pisa Cathedral in the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli). Detail of the cemetery (Camposanto) to the left. The cathedral, initially named Santa Maria Assunta and then Santa Maria Maggiore, was founded in 1063. It was built by Master Buscheto in the Pisan Romanesque style. Its walls are made of multi-colored marble and mosaic. It was enriched with various elements until the 17th century. The most significant interior decoration is Giovanni Pisano's pulpit (Il Pergamo) from 1310.A pisai dóm a Csodák terén (Piazza dei Miracoli). Tőle balra a temető (Camposanto) részlete. A kezdetben Santa Maria Assunta, majd Santa Maria Maggiore névre keresztelt dómot 1063-ban alapították. Buscheto mester építette pisai román stílusban. Fala sokszínű márványból és mozaikból készült. Különböző elemekkel gazdagították egészen a XVII. sz-ig. Belterének legjelentősebb alkoltása Giovanni Pisano szószéke (Il Pergamo) 1310-ből.
