WASHINGTON DC — A Lunar Roving Vehicle qualification test unit is displayed at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Destination Moon exhibition. This test version of the "Moon buggy" underwent temperature and vibration testing to simulate lunar mission conditions. Similar vehicles were used on Apollo missions 15, 16, and 17.
