Fragment of a Historical Relief - Luni marble - This scene depicts a triumphal procession: on the left a litter, borne by two men, carries a trophy of enemy arms and two Parthian barbarians in chains; on the right is a triumphal arch with male figures, perhaps the musicians who accompanied the procession. Similarities with the coin series issued by Septimius Severus in 194-195 AD, lead the relief to be dated to the beginning of the Severan period.
