Mucor mucedo is a species of zygomycete fungus commonly known as a bread mold, recorded in 1865 by Reverend Richard Cresswell (1815–1882). The sheet bears ink identification by Miss Aviolet and a museum stamp of the Cresswell Collection. The archival image documents a watercolour with pen and ink on paper included in Cresswell’s bound compilation of fungal studies.
