Peziza venosa is a species of cup fungus recorded in nineteenth-century British mycological study. Richard Cresswell (1815–1882) was an English clergyman and amateur mycologist who assembled a large fungi research collection later preserved at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The archival image documents a photographic reproduction of an annotated watercolour and ink study bearing identification notes added by curator Miss Aviolet.
