The Warsaw Zoo has inaugurated a specialized 24/7 emergency room for wild birds funded by the local civic budget to treat injured wildlife. Residents can leave wild birds in specialized containers similar to parcel lockers allowing for immediate veterinary care upon activation. This initiative aims to rehabilitate injured birds and return them to the wild supporting local biodiversity. The birds are treated at the Bird Asylum complex.
