14 April 2026, Saxony, Chemnitz: In the new Center for Electron Microscopy at Chemnitz University of Technology, Paul Seidel, technical assistant at the professorship, inserts a material sample into an ion fine beam system. The building was constructed especially for two high-resolution transmission electron microscopes and an ion fine beam system. After two years of construction, the research building with measuring rooms for the sensitive large-scale equipment is handed over.
