Organisers Tommy Joyce and John Reilly lead members of the Irish travelling community in a peaceful protest outside Mulligans pub in central Manchester. The demonstration follows an incident on Friday, April 17, 2026, where three members of the community were allegedly refused entry to the premises. Protesters marched with a pony and trap from St Peter's Square to Southgate, carrying banners and demanding an end to discrimination against Travellers in licensed establishments.
