Rectangular bookstand with two foldable sides, decorated with three recessed Jerusalem crosses. Under the central cross an ink Hebrew inscription reads ירושלים Yerushalayim. Main part has profiled edges and can widen by sliding the central part embedded in a groove to the right. Movable sides have a heart-shaped outline; when unfolded on brass hinges they stand nearly vertical with a slight inclination and are decorated with crosses on the outer surface. 19th–
