Bad Nauheim, Germany. 22th May, 2026. At the historic and now restored windmill tower between the graduation towers IV and V, also known as the “Long Wall”, sails was being fitted this week once again after some 200 years, organised by the Wind and Water Art Association of Bad Nauheim. The mill tower, built between 1745 and 1747, used for pumping briny water and destroyed by a hurricane in 1824 which tore off its sails and roof, is to be restored to working order.
