Epidemiology Laboratory Service is a Department of Defense reference laboratory operating within the 711th Human Performance Wing at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The archival image documents daily receipt of 5,000 to 8,000 blood serum, fecal, urine, viral, and respiratory samples from Air Force and other DoD facilities for clinical diagnostics and public health screening.
