The 179th Airlift Wing is an Ohio Air National Guard formation stationed in Mansfield, Ohio. On June 5, 2018, Airmen participated in Ability to Survive and Operate training at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center in Michigan, rehearsing Mission Oriented Protective Posture and CBRN strike procedures.
