On September 9, 2016, at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, the Assisted Messaging Processing Tool (AMPT) E-Codebook was demonstrated by U.S. Air Force personnel from the 707th Communications Squadron. The tool provides secure and efficient encoding and decoding of messages, including those transmitted from the President of the United States to deployed warfighters. AMPT enhances command and control communications, supports ISR operations, and ensures reliable and timely information flow across Air Force networks during missions.
