WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Nov. 20, 2016) New Zealand Ministry of Civil Defence Director Sarah Stuart-Black thanks Sailors for their relief efforts during an all-hands call on the flight deck of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102). Sampson, at the request of the government of New Zealand, remained off the coast of New Zealand’s South Island from Nov. 17-19 to offer assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake.
