Easter, which was postponed due to the local elections held in Turkey on March 31st and the Ramadan Feast, was celebrated with a mass at the Surp Giragos Armenian Church. The service, attended by a small number of Armenians from outside the city and those living in Diyarbakir, was led by clergy appointed by the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul. Since there are very few Armenians left in Diyarbakir, Sunday services are not held in the church.-stock-foto
