Taplow, Buckinghamshire, UK. 29th April, 2026. A large tree has been felled in the car park of the Chef & Brewer pub, The Feathers, which has closed down permanently in Taplow, Buckinghamshire. The pub which dates back to around 1780 and is Grade II listed, was having concrete barriers installed in the car park today. The Feathers pub is opposite the famous Cliveden House Hotel and was a popular pub for many years. According to social media it has gone down hill in recent years in terms of the quality of food and service. Industry body UK Hospitality, has predicted that 540 pubs could close in-stock-foto
