Prize bookplate book plate dated Xmas 1907, presented to Henry Twitchell by London County Council for attendance and progress at Kentish Town National School. It is signed by the head teacher, Edwin J. Sparkes. The LCC awarded book prizes, notably the King's Medal, to schoolchildren for attendance, conduct, and industry, with a book presented to the winners. The book would often be specially printed and embossed with the words 'Prize Awarded by the London County Council'. The practice ended 1919-1920.
