NASA has successfully completed the program’s first crewed mission, Artemis II, comprising NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman (commander), Victor Glover (pilot), and Christina Koch (mission specialist), along with Jeremy Hansen from the Canadian Space Agency (mission specialist), who orbited the moon, flying farther into space than any humans since the Apollo program.
