National Archives staff inspect the cases which are still under construction, Thursday, August 29, 2003. The large murals are covered to protect them from damage until the clean up is complete. The renovated Rotundra for the Charters of Freedom -- the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights -- will reopen on September 18th, which is the 216th anniversity of the signing of the Constitution.
