Sebastian de Aparicio y del Pardo (January 20, 1502 – February 25, 1600) was a Spanish colonist in Mexico shortly after its conquest by Spain. After a life as a cattle rancher and road builder, he entered the Franciscan Order as a lay brother. He spent the next 26 years of his long life as a mendicant friar of the order and died with an outstanding reputation for holiness. He was beatified by the Catholic Church.
