May 14, 2026: You're allowed to play with your food when you're on the International Space Station! To celebrate a delivery of fresh food, NASA astronauts JACK HATHAWAY (bottom left), JESSICA MEIR (middle left), and CHRIS WILLIAMS (bottom right), and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Sophie Adenot. Fresh fruit is delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) periodically via cargo resupply missions, serving as a rare, highly valued morale boost for astronauts who typically eat dehydrated food. Items like apples, oranges, and onions arrive every few months. (Credit Image: © Chris Willi-stock-foto

May 11, 2026, Houston, Texas, USA: NASA Astronaut Jessica Meir sits for a portrait at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston on Sept. 23, 2025. This photo was chosen as one of the 2025 NASA Photographer of the Year finalists. Meir launched on NASA's SpaceX Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station in February 2026 with fellow NASA astronaut Jack Hathaway, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. Meir was selected by NASA in 2013. Prior to becoming an astronaut, her career as a scientist focused on the physiology of animals in extreme-stock-foto

May 4, 2026: In this new picture from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, a spiral galaxy glittering with star clusters is the center of attention. NGC 3137 is located 53 million light-years away in the constellation Antlia (the Air Pump). As a nearby spiral galaxy, this target offers astronomers an excellent opportunity to study the cycle of stellar birth and death, as well as giving researchers a glimpse of a galactic system similar to our own. By studying this nearby galaxy group, astronomers can learn about the dynamics of our own galactic home. (Credit Image: © NASA/ESA/Hubble/ZUMA Press Wire/-stock-foto
