Tile. 3rd Century. Terracotta. Hoinar, Anantnag, Kashmir. On the tile of the middle row, there are large bunches of grapes with foliage, and a bird eating grapes is depicted in the upper portion. The lower tier of this tile features motifs of two full and one half-triangular inverted lotus petals, with two small stamped asterisks between the pearls. This row of the tile is slightly convex in plan. On the lowermost part and to the right side of the tile, there are engravings of Kharosthi numerals.
